Addressing the specific needs of the creative industries and the cultural stakeholders, the SMATH project is working on generating “Smart Atmospheres” to foster and enhance these specific ecosystems and support their emerging projects. With the help of the SMATH Project, co-financed by the Interreg Med Programme*, 8 local Creative Nests we created in the Mediterranean area to support initiatives in various cultural and creative industries (CCI) fields of work. This innovative form of clustering constitute an area of encounter and co-construction for entrepreneurs and artists.
The Nest support project with specific tools that are being tested within the SMATH project like Working Labs, Study Visits, Creative Starter coaching support programs… to enable them to work on their potential project ideas, focusing on how to transform an idea into business! The aim is to deepen the potential project ideas that have emerged so far, trying to strengthen and develop the team focusing on the three main areas of social innovation !
