INTERVIEW
Where did the idea come from ? Who are the project holders ?
By telling a story, you open your heart and spark a connection, so that's why our magic starts with a
rainbow – a never ending colourful story. Now is the right time to introduce the self-created
infographic design also to the wider public. It is based on graphical practice and upgraded by the
scientific and psychological skills. Project holders are Graphic designers Tine Lampret and Tjaša
Debelak.
What do they do ? What’s the project about ?
As innovative visual storytellers, they make the complicated simple and – what is more – they play
with words and pictures, free our minds of “the boxes” and embrace a more flexible and nimble
model of communicating. It’s a creative storytelling through scientifically approved knowledge. The
visual stories are based on infographic design and specific copywriting principles which results in
extremely creative and meaningful products.
Why did they create it ? What kind of impact (social, artistic, innovative,) does the project have?
As innovative storytellers the project holders work hard in order to better underline the key
meanings otherwise the importance of the message is lost. They strongly believe that their idea
represents a step forward in the field of traditional storytelling. This way it's impact is not only
innovative but also social and sustainable. In fact they see it as a pure art.
How does the SMATH Project help them? What are the next steps?
The SMATH project represents a great way to help them do something amazing. Through it they
acquire new useful knowledge and assistance with promotion, financing, as well as essential
networking. The authors wish to set up a path that leads from this side of the rainbow to the
successful business.
