Where did the idea come from ? Who are the project holders ?
ArtMapp is a project idea developed by Roberta Ciut who, together with her work team consisting of
Luca Ciut and Fabian Tibor, are willing to create a new company with the aim to provide tourists with
innovative cultural products and at the same time enhance national and local creativity.
What do they do ? What’s the project about ?
The project aims at creating the first application that, through the use of an interactive map, allows
the tourist or art enthusiast to book a visit in the studio/atelier of the visual artist (painter, sculptor).
ArtMapp will enable to meet the artists in the place where they work, to watch live their artwork,
discover a new way to travel having at the same time a unique experience to report, purchase the
artwork directly from the artist paying a lower price than the one they would pay if buying through
an intermediary.
Why did they create it ? What kind of impact (social, artistic, innovative,) does the project have?
The impact that the ArtMapp project wants to have is to valorise the local community and local
artists and bring the creative sector closer to people.
How does the SMATH Project help them? What are the next steps?
Thanks to SMATH, the project holders are benefitting from a set of initiatives that are helping them
to work on the essential aspects of their idea and therefore to structure their company in an
effective and successful way.
